Wynns John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
Named for one of the pioneering visionaries at Wynn's estate, this is a premium wine made in small quantities from the finest fruit parcels of each vintage.
The nose has plenty of ripe blueberries and red cherries. Both blueberry and cherry continue onto the palate, supported by elegant, glossy tannins. The wine is initially restrained, but as you get to know it, it's layers slowly start peeling off. Super ripe tannins support and frame the wine, allowing for early drinking or long term cellaring as for reference the inaugural release from 1982 is still drinking superbly!
