Expert Reviews
James Halliday, WineCompanion.com.au
Vintage 2013 - A blend of Barossa and Eden Valleys. An extremely powerful and complex wine, with a major question hanging over its head in the form of tis alcohol; there is an ocean of black fruits, but the alcohol warmth is a take it or leave it issue.
Robert Parker, www.robertparker.com
Vintage 2017 - Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 "The Struie" has a very youthful crushed black berry and black currant nose with licorice, dark chocolate and tar suggestions. Full-bodied with a taut, muscular palate and solid backbone of chewy tannins, this is a sturdy, rugged style, which should mellow a bit with a few years in cellar.
