The Glenlivet Nadurra Oloroso 700ml

  • Product details
The remote and isolated Livet valley (Glen Livet) made it ideal for illegal distillation and was where founder George Smith learned his craft so well that in 1822, King George IV arrived in Scotland and asked to try George's illegal whisky. Named "The Glenlivet" in 1884 in a brilliant piece of copyright protection, the distiller has never looked back. Nadurra (Natural in Gaelic) Olorosso takes its name from the sherry-soaked oak casks from Jerez in Spain and has rich flavours of dried fruit and warm spice; single malt whisky with Spanish passion and Scottish nouse.
  • Tasting notes
It’s a bright, vivacious gold liquid, with aromas of dried fruit and spice. To drink, it’s smooth and creamy with chocolate and marmalade. This is a divine example of what happens when you bring together Spanish passion and Speyside tradition. This whisky is all about using traditions to achieve modern brilliance.
