Distilled at the Famous Grouse Distillery, the Naked Grouse gurus decided to depart from the convention of aging blending malts in pre-used Bourbon casks to provide flavour. Instead, they use first-fill sherry casks that have never held whisky, to add another layer of rich and fruity flavour to the Naked Grouse blend of single malts. These are the "naked" casks that give Naked Grouse its name and smooth, sherry flavour making it easy-drinking to enjoy neat, on the rocks, or instead of Bourbon in an Old Fashioned or a Whisky Sour.

Tasting notes
A lovely amber, The Naked Grouse Scotch has a nose of buttery toast, peach and custard and malt. The palate has sherry, caramel, and dried fruits and preserves and that custard again, with a medium finish that allows a little smoky oak and cocoa to appear.,
