1. Ordering from Shorty's Liquor

1.1 When placing an order from you confirm that you are over the age of 18 years, and that all details relating to your order are true and correct. It is a legal requirement that the person placing the order is over the age of 18 years, and also that the person receiving the delivery is over the age of 18 years. You will be asked to supply your date of birth in order to finalise your purchase with You confirm that any gifts you purchase via will be received by persons over the age of 18 years.

1.2 Orders placed via are subject to our Delivery Terms as described in paragraph 5 below. Returns (refunds) for orders made via the website are available as described in paragraph 6 below.

1.3 All prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST.

1.4 All goods or services are provided in accordance with your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms and conditions displaces your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

1.5 From time to time, we may offer promotions and value-adds which will appear on our website. The terms and conditions of any promotion or value-add will appear on the website. You must read and agree to the terms and conditions of any promotion or value-add prior to making any order which includes a promotion or value-add.

2. Website Content

2.1 Website software, all imagery, and content are provided as is, and are provided without any warranties of any kind. Shorty’s Liquor CBD may make changes to website functionality, content, imagery, services etc at any time without notice. 

2.2 Much of the content available on has been sourced from suppliers, and as such, Shorty’s Liquor CBD make no warranties or claims as to the validity of content provided, availability of product, or accuracy of content and imagery, however, best efforts are made to ensure that content is as accurate as possible.

2.3 Vintages can be subject to change.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 The content, layout, design, and concept belongs or is licensed to Shorty’s Liquor. Any use, reproduction, downloading etc of any part of other than as expressly permitted via Shorty’s Liquors' written consent is strictly prohibited.

4.1 may provide links to third party sites. The links do not indicate, expressly, or implied, any endorsement of content, imagery, products, services etc by If you intend to follow those links, you do so at your own risk.

5. Delivery

5.1 Delivery rates are calculated at the checkout.

5.2 All deliveries are processed by either Shorty’s Liquor Drivers or third party couriers depending on the destination and delivery timeframe. Delivery vendors are selected at the discretion of Shorty’s Liquor.

5.3 Orders are processed and despatched in accordance with timelines and regions set out on the Delivery Information page, please see delivery information for further details for times and locations or contact Shorty’s Liquor via our Live Chat or by calling 1300 746 789 for any questions relating to delivery.

5.4 Limitations on delivery of certain products:

(a) Wine, champagne and sparkling, gifts and spirits are delivered Australia wide.

(b) Shorty’s Liquor delivers beers, cider, water, juices and soft drinks to Sydney and Melbourne CBD & Metro locations only due to the packaging constraints and safety of delivery of these products. Typically third-party partners are used to service National Business customers; please Contact Us if you have an office in another state capital that you require to be serviced by us. These product groups are not available for delivery to areas outside of these aforementioned locations.

5.5 Liquor licensing legislation prevents us from delivering alcohol to dry communities located in the below postcodes:

5.6 International Delivery. Shorty’s Liquor only delivers to addresses located in Australia as specified in our Delivery Terms & Conditions. Should you wish to have a purchase delivered to a location outside of Australia you will need to make arrangements with your own shipping agent. Shorty’s Liquor will not be responsible in any way for deliveries outside of Australia arranged by you.

5.7 Shorty’s Liquor ensures that all items delivered are in a merchantable condition. Please contact Shorty’s Liquor immediately to advise of any breakage, or concerns with your delivery via our Live Chat or 1300 SHORTY(746 789).

6. Returns

6.1 We offer returns (refunds) in line with your rights under Australian Consumer Law

'Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. 
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.'

6.2 In the event your order is delivered as faulty, damaged, or does not match the items ordered, we will gladly refund the price of your purchase, including delivery charges, with your proof of purchase, or provide an exchange if preferred. If this does occur, please contact us directly via our LiveChat or by calling 1300 SHORTY(746 789) as soon as you identify the problem. Please allow up to 10 business days to process your refund or exchange. Where goods delivered are faulty, damaged, or do not match the items ordered by you, Shorty’s Liquor will arrange for pick-up of the items and cover all costs of return.

7. Returns for Functions and Events

7.1 To use our Functions and Events Service, you will need to contact us via phone 1300 746 789 or email and request a Functions and Events Form. You must submit the Functions and Events Form as provided by us.

7.2 Once the Functions and Event Form has been approved and finalised by both parties, we will process your order through the Functions and Events Service. Changes to the order cannot be made less than 48hours prior to shipment.

7.3 We offer sale or return for orders booked through our Functions and Events Service on the following conditions:

(a) We allow a maximum limit of 20% of the total order to be returned under the following conditions:

(i) All products must be resalable (i.e. not opened or damaged):

(ii) Beer, cider, RTDs in full, unopened cases

(iii) Water and Soft Drinks in full, unopened cases, except 1.25L PET bottles that are sold as single units

(iv) Wine, Champagne and Spirits not opened or damaged

(v) Freshly squeezed juice cannot be returned

(b) Special request products sourced outside our range are unable to be returned

(c) Returns must be arranged within 2 days following the event

(d) Our drivers will inspect the returns upon collection, damaged or opened stock will not be taken

(e) The value of any promotion or value-add forming part of the order will be deducted from the refund

(f) Returns will be refunded via the same method as the original payment

8. Payment

8.1 Payment options. 

(a) For Approved Credit Accounts, all orders placed on the website by the certified account contacts can be processed on the Account Payment Terms. If the account is within its trading terms the goods will be shipped. Please use our Contact Us to open a Credit Account with us. Credit Accounts are approved at our discretion, subject to credit and reference checks and guarantees.

(b) For Non-Account holders, all orders placed on the website must be paid in full before shipment of the goods. Where payment for an order is made by credit card, we do not store your credit card number on our servers, however, it may be retained by our payment gateway provider in circumstances where this is required.

8.2 In cases where your payment for an order fails for reasons including but not limited to insufficient card credit detail, or cheque dishonour, we do not warrant that stock will be held until an alternate payment method is available or the original payment is otherwise affected.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the state of New South Wales, Australia. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

10. Liquor Licensing Act/Responsible Service of Alcohol

Shorty's Liquor takes the Liquor Licensing Act and the Responsible Service of Alcohol very seriously and with the utmost importance. At all times, the Responsible Service of Alcohol is adhered to.

LIQUOR ACT 2007: It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to or to obtain alcohol on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years.
