The fruit for this wine is sourced from vineyards with deep hillside red/brown terra rossa of limestone parentage. The wine is fermented and then aged in French oak for 12 months for added texture and complexity. The palate shows vibrant fruit and a long and persistant characters of nougat and nuts.
