Rusden Wines Black Guts Shiraz 2007
In 1979, Christine & Dennis Canute purchased 40 acres of run-down vineyard on the white sand over clay country in the heart of the Eastern Barossa to create Rusden Wines and it’s thank to their determination that Vine Vale wine is recognised as an individual style. Their old Shiraz vines are hand tended and the next generation of Canutes takes a minimalist approach to winemaking to create Black Guts Shiraz, a fruit-driven New World wine made in an Old World style. This wine will pair beautifully with red meat, poultry and game.
Blood red Black Guts Shiraz 2007 vintage has notes of white pepper and violets while the palate is rich and generous with black fruits, spices and mocha with lovely medium tannins giving a long, smooth finish.
