An alluring nose on the 2011 Rockburn Pinot Noir, showing gamey red and dark berry fruits laced with exotic spice, Chinese masterstock, earth and Peking duck, with lighter tones of tobacco and smoky oak. Energetic, with ample drive across the palate and a savoury finish.
Bob Campbell, MW
Vintage 2016 - Fruit-focused pinot noir with plump plum and ripe dark cherry flavours, together with mixed spice and a hint of floral characters. A silken-textured wine in a very appealing and accessible style. Another winner from Rockburn.
Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
Vintage 2016 - This is a well-proportioned and concentrated, sweetly rich Pinot Noir with cherry, raspberry, plum and liquorice notes on a finely structured palate.
Michael Cooper Wine Tasting
Vintage 2016 - This vintage is full-coloured and fragrant, with mouthfilling body and generous, vibrant cherry, plum and spice flavours, ripe and rounded. Delicious from the start
