Pierro LTC Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2018
Mike Peterkin founded Pierro and immediately set about doing things differently, like planting north-south orientated vine rows, which he judged would receive up to 20% more sunlight. During his first vintage in Margaret River in 1979, Mike introduced the first Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blend in Australia at a time when blended wines were unpopular. Four decades later it is now the fastest growing wine style in the country, and this 2013 vintage Pierro LTC Semillon Sauvignon Blanc will not disappoint the fans of the quintessential Margaret River white.
Pierro’s Semillon Sauvignon blend’s deliciously spicy and herbaceous bouquet heralds zesty notes of lemon and lime framing fruit salad flavours on the palate. The trademark LTC (Little Touch of Chardonnay) adds just the right amount of depth and heaviness while contributing to a refreshingly tart acid finish. Drink it as the perfect aperitif or with seafood.
