M.Chapoutier La Bernardine Chateauneuf du Pape 15
The soil is composed of large, round pebbles emanating from the former Rhône riverbed. The grapes are carefully selected and sorted during harvesting to obtain the best bunches of grapes. Traditional vinification is carried out in closed concrete tanks, lasting around three weeks at high temperatures to ensure the maximum extraction of colours and tannins.
This wine has an intense crimson-red colour and a complex yet sublte nose full of blackcurrant and plum followed by roasted coffee and cinnamon, cheery, morello cherry. The palate opens into spicy liquorice and finsihes with fruity armoas.
