Lake’s Folly Cabernets 2015 is a product of the Lake’s Folly vineyard and winery in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Established in 1963 by Doctor Max Lake, it was the first vineyard planted in the Hunter Valley of the 20th Century and the first boutique winery. Made in limited quantities, their wines are restrained and elegant with great structure and long length. Lake’s Folly Cabernets is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Shiraz, fruit-dominant, vibrant, stylish and amazing value.

Tasting notes
The Lake’s Folly Cabernet is deep red, with aromas of dark fruits, violets and liquorice. The palate is soft and generous, with notes of blackberry and forest floor. With excellent balance and fine tannins, this red blend is hard to fault. This medium-bodied gem goes well with pasta dishes.
