Kaesler is the winemaker that owns old vine vineyards planted in 1893, 1899, 1930 and the 1960s in the Barossa Valley. The two Shiraz vineyards from which this wine is sourced complement each other well, intense old-vine blue fruit flavours from the Marananga block and rounded black fruits from the Nuriootpa block. Kaesler The Bogan is a full-bodied Barossa Shiraz at its darkest red and fullest flavour and this magnum bottle gives you twice the time to enjoy before you open another bottle.

Tasting notes
The Bogan is deep dark red to black, almost purple with notes of blackberry and white pepper with hints of spice. From the first mouthful it's a flavour bomb, with its sweet black fruit on the front through to the seductive French oak on the very back of the palate. The Bogan matches well with cured meats and vintage cheddar.
