The winemaking accents characteristics of the vineyard from vine to bottle, but we also hold close to the wine maker's hearts the belief that wine is to be enjoyed and therefore have worked hard to create an environment conducive to that goal.

- Selected from a single block high on the hill, where the soils are shallow and the sunlight is even, you can expect great concentration of flavour and richness
- The wine spent a total of 22 months maturation in oak - no fining or filtration were used in the production

Vintage 2013 - Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Shiraz The Beast has an earthy/gamey nose with dried mulberries and preserved plums at the core, morphing into spice box, sandalwood and peppery notes. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and a full-on "beast," as the name suggests, it is actually very delicious and has real depth with many layers coming through on the impressively long finish. Drink 2017-2030

Vintage 2014 - The road to intensity is littered with blackberries. This is where wine meets bitumen meets fruit meets oak. It's colossal in its breadth, depth and reach. It's like some prehistoric creature; it will take an awful lot for its magnificence to ever be dimmed; it will live on for as long as you want it to.
