Grosset Polish Hill Riesling 2018 2019
Jeffrey Grosset’s ACO certified organic Springvale vineyard in the Clare Valley produces what we at Shorty’s believe is the best Riesling in the country. Grosset Polish Hill Riesling 2018 is nothing less than a work of fine, clean, precise art, a true testament to the steely, spartan characters of its terroir and the low yielding Polish Hill Vineyard. This powerful and intense dry wine from an exceptional year will add zest and style to any occasion.
There’s a hint of talc and Provencal lavender and some vibrant herb aromas to Grosset Polish Hill Riesling 2018, with a tight, intense mid-palate that features fresh-cut lime, notes of lemon pith layered with chalky minerals. Mouth-puckering with a hint of lemon pith, it’s long, uber-dry and memorable. This should work a treat with antipasto.

Vintage 2015 - The coy, youthfully mute 2015 Riesling Polish Hill has a mineral and wet pebble laced nose over notes of lime leaves, yuzu and green mango. The dry, light-bodied palate is positively charged with electric citrus fruit that carries straight through the very, very long finish. It really needs 4-5 years in bottle before it enters its drinking window. Drink 2020-2030.
