Grace Farm Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2017
Planted on former cow pasture at Wilyabrup, a couple of kilometres from the cool breezes of the Indian Ocean, Grace Farm employs sustainable viticultural management and hands-off winemaking techniques to make their Sauvignon Blanc Semillon. The wine integrates the freshness of stainless steel tank fermentation with the flavour, structure and texture provided by approximately 10% new oak barrel fermentation. It means that Grace Farm Sauvignon Blanc Semillon has the fresh fruit character of each variety when young, and allows the wine age beautifully and develop if you’re the patient type.
Grace Farm Sauvignon Blanc has intensely fresh and pungent aromas of passionfruit, herbs and lime blossom. These flow on to a lively and fruitful palate. Partial barrel fermentation supports the fruit and helps to enhance texture and weight. Delicate mineral acidity drives the wine and provides a long crisp finish, perfect with fresh seafood.
