Giaconda Warner Vineyard Shiraz 2015
Like all Giaconda wines, this Pinot Noir uses indigenous yeasts for fermentation, natural bacteria for malolactic fermentation, French oak barrel ageing, minimal sulphur additions, and no filtration before bottling.
The 2015 vintage has aromatic notes of briar, rose petals and violets on the nose, whereas on the palate it is lively and spicy with red and black fruits; the crunchy acidity being balanced by a fine powdery tannin. Aged in French Oak for almost two years and stored underground in the granite maturation cave, this environment offers a stable temperature and naturally high humidity for a perfect maturation period.,
