In response to COVID-19, we have implemented these extra measures to ensure the safety of our team, clients and community.

 

HYGIENE & HANDLING

 

In response to the risks of COVID-19 and the escalating situation we have implemented a number of additional measures throughout our business:

  • Increased sanitisation units and deep cleaning practices
  • Mandated sanitisation practices before and after each delivery
  • Closed our warehouse and office to all external visitors
  • Implemented contactless deliveries from our suppliers and partners
  • Implemented mandatory work from home arrangements
  • Temporarily placed all glasses and reusable item hire on hold

HEALTH & WELLBEING

 

To ensure we are in the best position to minimise the spread of infection we have implemented initiatives over and above heath authority recommendations:

  • Additional leave support measures for those who need to stay away from work due to self-  isolation, illness or the need to care for others that applies to all Shorty’s Crew impacted by the outbreak whether they’re full-time, part-time or casual
  • Mandating work from home if an employee presents as unwell or has increased exposure or vulnerability
  • Ensuring timely communication of up-to-date information from government and health authorities implemented an internal COVID-19 response team
