Kiwi-born Chris Ringland is an adopted legend of the Barossa Valley's Shiraz makers having studied there before working around the world to hone his craft. He bought his vineyard in 1994 and took ten years pruning and re-trellising the 1910-planted vines and all the fruit in this Shiraz has been hand-picked from a vineyard beside Chris’ property. This Chris Ringland Shiraz is the first release after a 10-year absence from the scene and an exceptional Shiraz for lovers of the Barossa’s very best, ready to drink when you are.

Tasting notes
A dense nose is immediately apparent in the Chris Ringland Shiraz, offering black cherries and liquorice. The palate is equally complex: a more reserved fruit character than one might expect from a Barossa Shiraz is balanced perfectly by smoked meats and a touch of vanilla. An exciting and delightful red, perfectly suited to accompany any rich meat dish.
