Chandon Vintage Brut Rose 2013
The only Australian winemaker with French Heritage, Chandon decided in 2015 to create its Vintage Brut Rosé wine exclusively from its estate cool-climate vineyards in Victoria’s Strathbogie Ranges, Whitlands Plateau and the Yarra Valley. Like all of the Domaine Chandon sparkling wines, this Brut Rosé vintage is crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes to the house's exacting standards. With its youthful floral pink hues and fresh, vibrant mousse, this is a sensational sparkling for parties and festive occasions.
The bouquet is enticingly layered with maraschino cherries and strawberry preserves, and a hint of fruit pie spice. Lovely notes of red fruits and toasted almonds on the palate lead smoothly into a crisp, delicious finish.
