Bleeding Heart Sauvignon Blanc 2019
2018 was a excellent season for Bleeding Heart. A cool and a wet start throughout Winter ensured the moisture level of vineyards was excellent and then an even. The season was extended due to cooler weather. The grapes for most varieties hung for longer than usual where they arrived at full ripeness levels delivering highly flavoursome and expressive fruit. For wines such as the Bleeding Heart Sauvignon Blanc, the result was freshness combined with added complexity.
A lifted nose of passionfruit, lemon citrus & cut grass. The palate has a fruity intensity with spice and subtle herb. The finish is dry, long and very refreshing. A wine that will pair very well with garden salads, fresh fish and light creamy pastas.

"It is elegantly lifted on the nose showing grapefruit, fresh apple, lemon zest and nectarine characters. The palate is juicy and lively with pristine fruit flavours and bright acidity, finishing crisp and attractive. A tasty sauvignon with lively fruit flavours. At its best: now to 2018
