Refunds and Returns
We offer returns (refunds) in line with your rights under Australian Consumer Law:
'Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.'
If in the event your purchase is faulty, damaged or does not match the items ordered we will gladly refund you the price of your purchase including delivery charges or exchange the product upon presentation of your proof of purchase, again incurring the delivery or return charges as specified.
In the circumstance of a refund for changing your mind, the goods will be refunded on return and the delivery charges will be deducted from the refund to the customer.
To arrange a refund or return please call directly on 1300 SHORTY(746 789) as soon as you identify the problem and allow up to 10 business days to process your refund or exchange.
Our hours of operation are 8am -6pm Monday to Friday(AEDT excluding public holidays)
Returns for Functions and Events
Shorty’s Liquor CBD offer a Sale or Return policy for excess function stock to the maximum value of 20% of the original order value.
If you find that you have an excess of stock left over from the function or event please call 1300 SHORTY (746 789) to arrange the collection and or refund. We do recommend that you utilise our experienced Sales Team for advice on the ideal quantities for your event, and also on which varietals of wine to serve.
The Terms and Conditions for the return of unused beverages are below:
- All products must be resalable (i.e. not opened or damaged):
- Beer, cider, RTDs in full, unopened cases
- Water and Soft Drinks in full, unopened cases, except 1.25L PET bottles that are sold as single units
- Wine, Champagne and Spirits not opened or damaged
- Freshly squeezed juice cannot be returned
- Special request products sourced outside our range are unable to be returned
- Returns must be arranged within 2 days following the event
- Our drivers will inspect the returns upon collection, damaged or opened stock will not be taken
- Delivery charges apply to returns
- The value of any promotion or value-add forming part of the order will be deducted from the refund
- Returns will be refunded via the same method as the original payment
